OP hurt themselves during a club activity and went to the orthopedics department at a university hospital. The young doctor treating them turned out to be unexpectedly smart and sharp. When OP mentioned the injury, they actually admitted they wanted to quit the club anyway, so it was kind of a blessing โ lol. Later, when OP came back to get their cast put on, that same doctor reappeared.
Out of nowhere the doctor smirks and goes: "So you didn't even want to do it โ why were you doing it then? I'm curious." OP says it wasn't even flirty or anything, but that one line completely wrecked them. "The most flustered I've been in my 19 years of life" โ and the doctor said it while wrapping the cast. The casual savagery hit different.
