A Korean woman studying in Australia had a crush on a guy in her class. Thinking he couldn't possibly understand Korean, she looked him in the eye and said '좋아해' ('I like you') right to his face — fully expecting to get away with it.
The guy smiled and said, 'Me too.'
She panicked and asked what he meant. He told her he didn't understand it at the time, but had gone home and memorized the phrase specifically so he could say it back to her later. She says she just randomly remembered this and posted it — and honestly same, this lives in my head now too.
