Guy calls himself trash, but the story is actually adorable

Posted on a university forum under 'Anonymous': 'I did something terrible today...'

He was stressed and snappy, and his girlfriend kept playfully teasing him until he got genuinely irritated. She noticed and silently stared at the floor, eyes welling up. He felt awful and tried to smooth things over — but then she pulled out her Nintendo Switch and started playing Animal Crossing like nothing happened, the little cat just vibing away. He goes '...oh.' Speechless.

To make it up to her, he borrowed some money and ordered shaved ice and macarons. She devoured the macarons like some kind of feral creature — no shame, full chaos energy — and he found it unbearably cute. Then she said she hadn't worked out today so she needed to do some, and he hadn't either, so they ended up doing a couples workout together lmaooo. Then she fell asleep at his place before heading home, so he let her nap. He swears he will NEVER lose his temper again. 'Best day, I'm so happy.'

Then he adds: 'Oh wait — I just remembered she said she sleeps badly and looks rough when she does... and she had tape on her mouth to stop mouth-breathing. Saw her sleeping with the tape on and melted. She's so cute lol.' Top comment from another anon: 'Bro the only trash behavior here is being done TO me (by reading this).'
