Horror story: Platform 5 in Barcelona opened its doors again

Okay I wasn't going to post this but.

September 2021. A night security guard working at a Barcelona metro station goes missing. The last CCTV footage shows him walking toward Platform 5. He never came back.

Here's the thing though. Platform 5 has been officially closed since 2004.

Barcelona Sants station has a few sealed-off platforms that regular passengers never see. Platform 5 had the worst reputation among staff. From the outside it looks like a solid concrete wall. But the people who worked there knew. That door opens by itself sometimes.

Fall 2023. Middle of the night. A male staff member on patrol radios the control room.

"The door to Platform 5 is open. There's a light inside and it's... moving."

Then the line goes dead.

The last audio on his recorder goes: "There's someone standing inside the platform. But their legs... they don't have..."

Gone. They searched the entire platform interior. Nothing. Except his flashlight, still on, sitting alone on the floor.

After that the station blocked off the whole section completely. But a few days later another employee spotted something weird on their way out. 2:46am. One of the trains sitting idle inside the station turned its lights on.

Someone was sitting inside.

On the Platform 5 track.

The logs showed zero trains assigned to that area at that time. But the security camera footage caught it clearly. The train was coming BACK IN from the platform side.

No driver. And the vehicle number matched a model that was decommissioned in 2004.

Spain's national rail authority pulled the footage entirely and just quietly ramped up "internal security training." But workers still pass around this warning like a rule:

"If you're in an elevator and you notice a button pressed for a floor below where you should be... don't follow it. Someone is hoping you'll go down there instead of them."

This isn't just some random European creepypasta. Platform 5 is real. And the stories about a train that can come back from somewhere underground are still going around.
