So this is a horror story that's been floating around Korean forums and honestly it still fucks me up.
Every day coming home from work I'd cross this bridge where I could see my apartment balcony. Nothing special about it, just something I did without thinking. One day I looked up and... there was someone standing there.
A woman in a red dress, head down, long hair hanging. Just. Standing there.
I called my coworker K who lived nearby and we met at a cafe. I told him what I saw and he was like "nah you imagined it" but agreed to come check anyway. We got to my place and obviously nothing. No one on the balcony. "See? You were tripping," he said. Whatever, I convinced myself. Didn't even eat dinner, just crashed.
Then at 1am my doorbell rings.
I'm half asleep like who the HELL and it's K. But his face is absolutely TERRIFIED and he's banging on the door screaming "GET OUT. There's someone inside. There's PEOPLE on your balcony!"
I didn't even grab my keys. Just bolted.
When K saw me come out he just started WAILING. Like full breakdown. So I'm freaking out too and we're both screaming and crying in the hallway.
He tells me he couldn't stop thinking about what I said earlier. Drove back to the bridge to look again. At first he thought the balcony had a bunch of laundry drying but then he realized... they were all people. Dozens of them just STANDING there. Not moving. All staring into the room. Not a single one moved.
We went straight to the police. Obviously they didn't believe us but one officer came to check anyway. And yeah. Nothing. Empty balcony.
We went to my parents' place that night. Next day we went to the real estate agency to put the apartment up for sale. They had no idea what we were talking about. "Never heard of anything like that."
Then I get a call from work. K was hospitalized.
Rushed to the hospital and he's all bandaged up, unconscious. Talked to his older brother who's there. Apparently K had a breakdown in his room. Neighbors heard screaming, building manager found him when he called police, K's balcony door was completely shattered. Glass everywhere. From the inside. Like he broke it himself.
They couldn't find any sign of anyone breaking in.
K got transferred to a psychiatric hospital after that. His family told me I couldn't visit. "Maybe later," they'd say. Months go by and then K sends me a letter.
It's rambling. About the hospital, other patients, some guy he thinks is cute. At the end there's a photo of K in a hospital bed throwing a peace sign, grinning like everything's fine.
But behind him in that photo the window is completely covered in black paper.

I was spying on my neighborhood at 2am and saw something that made me never do it again
So I had this weird hobby. Every night around 2am I'd climb up to my apartment roof with binoculars and just... observe. Watch the streets when they're dead quiet. There's something oddly satisfying about it, you know? T

My friend's girlfriend saw a dead girl in a dream. Three days later she actually died.
This is a horror story (๊ดด๋ด) that happened when I was 20. Back then I was living that fresh adult energy, just vibing and partying constantly. I had this best friend Sung-jin (fake name) since middle school. Super tight.
The boy who walks where no one can go
This is a story my friend experienced. So our school was built like 20 years ago. There's a mountain literally right behind it, a temple next to that (though some people call it a mudang's house), and this kinda rundown
I burned a monk's blessing and saw something I can't unsee
So this happened when I was like, barely walking. My dad had nothing when he got married, no real skills, so he just picked up driving taxi. Not great money but at least he had work, you know?
