My aunt literally died and came back with stories from 3 different afterlives and I'm still not over it
okay so this is going to sound absolutely unhinged but buckle up. my aunt is 66 now (born 1959, never married) and 15 years ago she got hit by a drunk driver doing 100+ mph. the other couple in the accident? both dead on impact. doctors literally told my family she wasn't going to make it and they already had a spot ready for her at the family burial ground. ;;;;
but then. she wakes up a month later. one week she moves her hands. another week her legs. another week she can talk again.
and here's where it gets WEIRD. aunt says when the accident happened she felt her body go limp and then just... switch off. like closing a laptop.
next thing she knows she's a guy in his 20s. living in what looks like korea but it's DIFFERENT. there's no north korea. the country is unified. she's living in mokpo in jeolla province. the year is 2012 (so 12 years after the accident in the real timeline).
she tries to find her family. they don't exist. like at all. she goes to her grandparents' house and there are completely different people living there. the family burial ground? it's a park now.
the job she had? she has no record of ever working there. different name, different person in her position.
she just... gives up trying to find anyone. lives that life for 70 years until she dies at 95. same switch-off feeling.
THEN SHE WAKES UP IN CHOSON DYNASTY KOREA.
she's the child of some noble family. the language is SO different from modern korean she can barely understand it. but she's living this fancy life until age 7 when her family gets caught up in a treason plot. all the men in her family get executed. she gets murdered while being exiled. click. off again.
this time she comes back as the daughter of a businessman couple born in pyongyang. korea still doesn't have north korea in this world but it's a constitutional monarchy instead. the emperor is the granddaughter of the last emperor. her dad does trade so they live in shanghai, china the whole time. then she goes to study in japan and a massive earthquake kills her and her parents.
AND THEN.
she's literally floating above clouds. her great-great-grandfather (who's dead in the real world) is standing there and he's like "you're supposed to live 88 years and 6 months and then be reborn. go back." and he PUSHES her. she gets sucked away and wakes up in her actual body recovering from the accident.
family doesn't believe her at ALL. but aunt genuinely believes it now and she's been saying that maybe our real selves exist in some other world and we're just playing out life here like a video game we're controlling remotely??
I can't. I'm still thinking about this.

I was spying on my neighborhood at 2am and saw something that made me never do it again
So I had this weird hobby. Every night around 2am I'd climb up to my apartment roof with binoculars and just... observe. Watch the streets when they're dead quiet. There's something oddly satisfying about it, you know? T
I got trapped in a haunted pension and turned into a teddy bear
so this is gonna sound absolutely insane but I need to get it out there. went on a trip to busan with friends like a month ago. we were all burnt out from work so we booked this pension called 'starlight shelter' to chil
My friend's girlfriend saw a dead girl in a dream. Three days later she actually died.
This is a horror story (κ΄΄λ΄) that happened when I was 20. Back then I was living that fresh adult energy, just vibing and partying constantly. I had this best friend Sung-jin (fake name) since middle school. Super tight.
The boy who walks where no one can go
This is a story my friend experienced. So our school was built like 20 years ago. There's a mountain literally right behind it, a temple next to that (though some people call it a mudang's house), and this kinda rundown
I burned a monk's blessing and saw something I can't unsee
So this happened when I was like, barely walking. My dad had nothing when he got married, no real skills, so he just picked up driving taxi. Not great money but at least he had work, you know?
