my classmate became addicted to origami and it's the cutest thing ever

okay so I had this seatmate who was also a total math dropout like me, except she wasn't just a math dropout she was a CLASS dropout. like she'd literally sleep through every math period or be on her phone the ENTIRE time. so one day I'm bored out of my mind in math and I start tearing up my textbook to fold paper cranes, right? just casually making cranes. and she watches me do this and suddenly SHE wants to fold cranes too. so I'm like no write your own notes and she goes "I don't have a book." okay so I say fuck it and I rip up MY book to make her ten cranes lmao. and she's over there struggling SO HARD trying to figure out how to fold them, like just fumbling around, going "wait how did you... no wait... oh my god..." and she's taking videos of them for her story being all cute about it. AFTER THAT. every single math class she's like "let's play origami" and I keep giving in so she starts literally BLOCKING MY NOTES with her hands while I'm trying to write, covering my eyes, just screaming "fold paper fold paper fold PAPER" at me. and honestly? it was adorable as hell. she'd make her own cranes and fold little hearts to stick in my hair and we'd just keep making them the whole class. LMAOOO. now whenever we pass each other in the hallway we mess around and say hi. we went from both hating math to being origami besties.
