nobody came to my elementary school graduation and I still can't forget it

So at my elementary school graduation I was in the choir, we performed at the opening AND closing ceremony. And nobody came. Not a single person from my family.

Every other kid had flowers and gift bags from their parents. I had nothing. Empty hands.

My friends kept asking to take photos together and I just... ignored them. The second it ended I walked straight home alone. Every single step home felt so lonely and hollow and I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it even now.
