so my boyfriend. when i was going through a really bad depression phase i literally had my phone on airplane mode in the dark under my blankets just sleeping all day right. and he would just show up at my house the SECOND i wouldn't answer his calls. didn't even shower or anything. and he'd be like 'you're still pretty' and 'what did you do today' over and over for like over a YEAR. the 'you're pretty' thing is whatever but the 'what did you do today' question... honestly i still think about how insane that is. he's not even a particularly thoughtful guy or like naturally warm but i have NO idea what he was trying to do saying that every single day. i don't even know what he was feeling. but that one thing... that made me get out of the darkness. and i'm literally in debt to him for life for it.
