I destroyed my aunt's Hermès bag after she ruined my $3k PC

Okay so this holiday I hit a level of rage I didn't know I was capable of. I'm not usually the type to lose it but I genuinely could not hold back this time.

So I'm kind of a gear guy, right? I spent MONTHS picking out every single component for this custom PC. $3,000. My most prized possession. But then the family shows up for the holiday and everything goes to shit.

I'm in the living room peeling apples when I hear my nephew laughing in my room. Something felt off so I run in and... this kid is literally pouring Coke directly onto my CPU tower. "Uncle, the robot's thirsty!" he goes, smiling like an angel, and I watch my entire $3k investment start smoking and burning. I could smell it. It was OVER.

I lose it and start screaming. My aunt runs in and says... okay prepare yourself for this. "Come on, kids spill things sometimes. Why are you being so mean to him? It's just a machine. Here's 50 bucks, fix it yourself. Kids these days have no warmth."

50 BUCKS. For a $3,000 PC. And she's calling ME selfish.

I tell her the repairs alone will cost hundreds. She literally tells me "Stop overreacting. Machines cost less than shoes at the market anyway."

That's when I realized. Talking was useless.

I walked to the kitchen, grabbed the remaining 1.5L bottle of Coke, came back to the living room, and poured it DIRECTLY into her precious Hermès bag. The one she was showing off. Wallet, makeup, everything. Completely destroyed.

She's screaming and I go, "Oh aunt, my mistake! Kids aren't the only ones who can have accidents, right? That bag looked like a market bag anyway so here's 5 bucks for dry cleaning. We good?"

The whole room goes silent. She's literally sitting on the floor crying.

I grabbed my PC tower and left.

Now she's calling my parents demanding I pay for it. I've already got the receipt, damage photos, and I'm prepping a civil lawsuit for the full amount. Told my parents straight up: no settlement unless she pays full damages.

Forreal though. Stop letting family members use "but it's a kid!" as a shield for being absolute bullies. If you have something you care about, DO NOT let them disrespect it. The only thing these people understand is consequences.
