Is it normal to be jealous of a prettier, more likeable coworker??

Okay so. [Work rant] Is it normal to be jealous of someone at work who's prettier AND more sociable than you??

So back at my old job people kept telling me I was pretty and well-liked, coworkers would take me out for meals and drinks all the time (never actually met any of them outside of that tho lol) but then there was this one girl who was like. Prettier than me but also had this really heavy, introverted personality so I felt fine?? Like we balanced out or something.

Then a few months ago this new girl joined our office. Pretty, super outgoing, everyone loves her. First day I heard about her I was kinda like okay good for her, sociable AND cute, she's probably fun to be around. And honestly I thought guys would just fight over who gets to hang out with her more so I figured she was just gonna be Popular Girl™ and whatever.

BUT LATELY people have been saying she's even prettier than OO (that's me) and that OO is actually falling behind a little?? And I know this sounds unhinged but hearing that genuinely stings and I'm a tiny bit on edge... Also she's literally the opposite personality from me so whenever she does something I feel like I'm getting shown up.

Like I'll catch myself lowkey jealous and then feel bad about it... is this normal?? Or is it just. The obvious human thing and I'm overthinking it.
