Legend school couple: we met at 5am in empty classrooms

So I used to go to school super early in middle school because I genuinely loved the vibe of an empty classroom, right. Then freshman year of high school I show up early on day one and this guy's already there. And I'm like okay cool, we're polar opposites so I won't bother him. But he's got this intimidating exterior (like genuinely looks scary) but his personality is actually so good? So he keeps talking to me.

Turns out he was coming early specifically to sleep at school. But we started talking for like 30 mins every morning and even though we looked NOTHING alike, our interests were actually overlapping and I just... started liking him. A few weeks in I asked him like, wait, aren't you tired? You come here to sleep and you're talking to me instead. Wouldn't you be exhausted? And he was like, do you hate talking to me?

So I backpedaled and was like oh no I'm just worried you're tired, and he said okay. After that he'd just sleep when he came in early. I was lowkey scared to wake him up but he'd be tossing around and I realized he wasn't actually sleeping. One morning he straight up told me "stop apologizing you idiot" so I apologized immediately and we went back to talking every morning after that.

He basically just slept at school constantly and hung out with the scary delinquent types so publicly we barely acknowledged each other. But whenever our eyes met in the hallway he'd slightly raise his hand to say hi and it was... really nice actually. Then sophomore year we got split into different classes and only saw each other in the halls sometimes, we'd chat a bit. By graduation we took photos together and then. Nothing. No contact.

But I randomly thought of you today. Suwon High grad with that name. Hope you're doing well. I really liked you.
