I spent 2 semesters not confessing and he beat me to it lmao

So there was this guy I was absolutely OBSESSED with for literally the entire second half of the year. Like everyone kept telling me he liked me back and I was like okay whatever. But here's the thing, I had already done the whole "jumped the gun and confessed to someone" thing before and it was CATASTROPHIC so I was like nope, keeping this one to myself, bestie.ㅠㅠ

Anyway spring break is coming and I'm having this moment like oh god this might be the last time I see him and I'm getting all sad about it. So I decide okay I'm just gonna cherish this from afar and move on, very mature of me. Then this idiot shows up that day and he's literally just messing with me the ENTIRE time. I'm hanging out with my friend and he keeps bugging me, pulling pranks, just being chaotic. I'm sitting there trying SO HARD not to react because I thought he was just doing it to mess with me, you know? Like he's bored, whatever.

So the spring break assembly ends and I'm literally class president (kill me) so I have to stay and clean up. I'm about to leave when HE'S WAITING FOR ME IN THE HALLWAY. Just standing there. And when I walk out he's smiling at me SO BIG and he's like "why are you so late, I had something to tell you." And then. He just says it.

"I like you. I've liked you since the first semester. You didn't know?"ㅠㅠ
