bf woke up sick and said i love you in that VOICE and i short circuited

i'm so hyped i can't even think straight ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

so he hasn't texted since 7pm right. i'm sending him messages and finally call him just now and he picks up all groggy like he literally just woke up. AND GET THIS. he's sick with a cold already but the second he answers his voice gets all low and raspy?? like that drunk-on-sleep voice that makes zero sense but hits different ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

i was like okay so you took meds and passed out huh. and he's just "yeah" in that TONE. so i tell him like listen you're sick go back to sleep we can see each other tomorrow. and bro. BRO. he literally goes "i miss you.." in the most wrecked sleepy voice possible ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

i froze. completely. and THEN. then he says "i love you" and i literally. couldn't. speak. i had nothing. i just hung up without saying anything back and he IMMEDIATELY texts asking why i didn't respond LMAOOOOO ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

but for real that raspy just-woke-up voice guys do?? it's actually insane. i'm thinking about it still ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
