the order someone said would hit different... and it DID

so apparently someone said if these 4 moments happen in the order 4-1-3-2 it hits different and honestly? they were right.

this was during a fight with my dog (guy i was crushing on while he was crushing on me). i accidentally slip and go "you like me anyway right" and the way he RESPONDED.

1. eyes literally FULL of tears like "wait you knew this whole time?"

2. laughing in that "are you kidding me right now" way like i just said the dumbest thing

3. voice shaking when he's like "if you knew that why are you treating me like this"

4. just. frozen. staring at me like "what did you just say. what the hell did you just say."

the 4-1-3-2 order though??? the way it destroyed me. he went from confused to devastated to angry to shellshocked and i was SPIRALING the entire time. like bestie pick an emotion!!!
