two high school boys confessed to each other over coffee and i witnessed it

okay so i went to this cafe and it was DEAD. like 3 tables total including me. and there's these two guys in school uniforms right, and they're clearly not the same year because one keeps calling the other 'senior' so let's say junior is A and senior is B.

A: "dude can we just go to study hall, you keep distracting me"

B: "i'm trying to buy you something nice"

A: "nah i'm good"

and i'm sitting there like oh how sweet, this is cute actually, and then OUT OF NOWHERE

B: "so i like you. when are you gonna say yes? after exams? should i wait till then?"

AND I JUST. STOPPED. BREATHING. i was literally doing my assignment and then i looked up at his face and girl. GIRL. like i've never seen someone look like that at my school before. i'm still processing it.

so A goes "what the fuck dude" and B just laughs. and apparently they had a bet going like "don't curse" or something and A forgot and B's like oh right my bad. so A sighs and they just... hold hands... and start studying together.

i'm not exaggerating when i say watching that made my entire life better.
